Congress111 is built using Monotouch.
Got that soon I saw the app was more than 10Mb, Mono puts to much space just for Memory management 🙂
Being a .NET developer for 5 years now, and Objective C for 6 month… Memory Management is not that hard, soon you get he hold of it 🙂

The 10Mb is mainly because of a local database and resources that I ship with the app, not because of Monotouch.
