Been waiting for the book. Went to a .NET user group meeting this past Thursday where Mike gave a talk on Mono-Touch, amongst other iPhone, iPad diddies. His talk renewed my interest in the afore mentioned technologies. Mike did a great job on the topics.
When will the ebook be available? Is the Amazon release date of January 7, 2012 correct?
The eBook will be out in July. The Amazon date refers to the potential release date for a print book. You must have seen the Amazon site before the update below was posted there:
Learning MonoTouch will release as an electronic-only edition (ePub, Kindle, Nook, PDF, and Safari Books Online) in July 2011. A print version of this book may become available later in 2011 or early 2012. Keep an eye on Xamarin for updates on MonoTouch/MonoDroid.
